SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8th, 2009 – The next meeting of the Central Iowa Sewing Rebellion in Ames – Bring yourself, a friend, fabric scraps, things to mend, food to share.
We will be learning how to make a pattern from a reusable grocery bag so we can make as many as we want from fabrics we have on hand! The same methods can be used to deconstruct and reconstruct shirts, skirts, bags and anything else made out of fabric!
Brunchluck (breakfast/lunch potluck) to start at noon, demos at 1ish, and sewing free for all until 4. Drop in when you can, leave when you need to. All are welcome!
Check the “Upcoming” page when you want to learn what the next meeting will be focusing on and when it will be taking place.
